About

I’m Mike Muir, Senior Manager of IT Operations at Acorns. I’ve spent my career in IT, from Mac admin and managed services to running enterprise IT for a fintech.

Outside work: dad first, then soccer and kickboxing, 3D printing and CNC, drones (both regular and fpv), a homelab that wont stop growing, LoRa mesh networking, guitar, sim racing, and more progressive and technical death metal than is probably healthy.

I also design and sell 3D-printed mounts for VKB flight sim controllers on Etsy.

This site started on Squarespace in 2014. The old posts are still here, mostly for posterity.
